Weird.

Last night, I got an email from Qatar Airways, with a boarding pass for a flight today. I’m not jetting off anywhere, so it was a bit confusing… Checked the email headers, definitely from Qatar Airways. Checked the IP address it came from. Qatar. Looked at the boarding pass. Looks real enough. Hm.

I just got off the phone with Qatar Airways, where the conversation went something like this:

Me: (short explanation of the situation)

Qatar: Do you have a booking reference?

Me: Yes, it’s ******

Qatar: Is that Gareth Bowker?

Me: Yes…

Qatar: Married to a Mandy Bowker?

Me: No…

So, Gareth and Mandy Bowker, travelling to Doha tonight, have a great flight… and I’ve got your boarding pass.
