ID Cards: Just say no.
Oh, and while I’m in a politically-charged mood, if you think ID cards are a crap idea, I’ve just been pointed to this little petition on Number 10’s website. As per usual with this Government, they’ll probably ignore any form of public opinion when making their minds up, but hey, it might be worth a shot.

WTO? WTF
This has to be one of the most surreal and ridiculous things I’ve read in a long time:

Cars
I’ve not been having much luck with cars of late. Indeed, over the weekend, I was in Bolzano in Italy for SFSCon, specifically the FSFE Fellowship meeting so I rented a car to get me from Bergamo airport to Bolzano.
On the drive back to the airport last night, it broke down, stranding me in Italy. I’m back in the UK now, but completely knackered (rather than just slightly knackered, which I’d...
